Design Studio IV – Spring 2022

Project Description

As the pandemic continued to blur the lines of working and living while challenging our ideas of the function of a home, this project explored combining those functions between two drastically different makers. A group of 10 makers consisting of glassblowers and mixologists cohabitate in an apartment/studio space intended to act as a gateway to Denver’s RiNo neighborhood. The project involves an ecosystem of recycled glassworks from the community, a gallery for local artists, and a rooftop bar for other events to unite the historical Denver neighborhoods that have been cut into sections by continued development.

This was a group project with Alycia Thomas and Suzanne Chang. For the final deliverables, I was responsible for perspectives as well as the physical model
