WHO AM I?

My name is Xavier McGee VanDenburgh, I’m an architectural designer with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The University of Colorado Denver and an alum of The Wood Program at Aalto University

I am currently working at DeckTec Outdoor Designs in Golden, Colorado and am driven by a passion for sustainable and practical architectural solutions in response to our ever changing world. I have a love for design/build, hands on architecture, and interdisciplinary approaches to design and planning for a healthier, safer, more efficient built environment

Outside of architectural work I have a background in art education through teaching and assistant opportunities at The Art Students League of Denver where my work had revolved around experimentation, sketching, digital, and physical model making in a wide variety of mediums to help students bring their ideas to life
